Victoria Falls Zambia

Living stone is a small town where visitors in Zambia can better view the Victoria Falls, unwind on the Zambezi and partake in a number of activities. Dissimilar to the Victoria Falls  town located in Zimbabwe which is just a short distance from the falls, Livingstone is approximately 6km away from the falls and it requires a vehicle to be accessed. Question of whether the falls are best spotted in Zimbabwe or Zambia is a subject that depends on ones’ choice and the season of the year. Viewing from Zambia through the adjacent gorge, that part of the water falls usually dries up during particular seasons in a year. When the water levels of the river increase both countries suffer from the gashing amounts of water that burst beyond its boundaries.

The benefit of camping in Zambia is that there are numerous accommodation sites in the ideal tourist destinations that are worth visiting which offer a variety of activities to partake in the Zambezi and the park. Majority of the camps are situated along the river banks and range from 20 to 40 minutes drive from the falls. These camps are well resourced and can offer all the activities that you may want to partake thus enabling you to live an independent life while there. At these places, you can ideally spent three day just unwinding without partaking in the river rafting or other activities.

Although small, living stone is larger than the Victoria-Falls town, and it has various coffee shops and just counted restaurants. It has a number of museums and craft markets that can be visited. Zambia is a pleasurable, unhurried and “ African Time” country.
